Artemis & Orion reflects the illicit love of Artemis — the Greek goddess of hunting — for the mighty huntsman Orion. Her brother, Apollo, tricked Artemis into killing Orion and, in grief, she placed his body among the stars. A lyrical piece for solo cello and chamber orchestra.
