An original piece dedicated to my favourite place — Pinheiros Altos, on Portugal’s lovely Algarve coast. The beautiful coastline is a stone’s throw away, and this piece conjures up images of an endless blue sky and a cooling breeze. The Saxhorn Series is a collection of pieces — some original, some arrangements of well-known existing pieces — arranged for a quartet of 2 tenor horns and 2 baritone horns.
