Tenebrae commission new piece for choir Internationally acclaimed choir Tenebrae have commissioned Mike Sheppard to compose a new piece. They are currently nominated for not one, but two BBC Music Magazine awards, which speaks volumes about their quality. The piece will be recorded on 26th Jan 2012 at Phoenix Sound, Pinewood Studios.

Commotio to record new choral pieces

Commotio to record new choral pieces Oxford-based choir Commotio are to record new works by Mike Sheppard in July 2012. The choir, run by Matthew Berry, have recently had classical chart success with their recordings of the music of Paul Mealor. They will record pieces ranging from Christmas carols to secular SATB compositions.
