Following the London workshop of ‘Body Count’, Artemis invited New York dramaturge Anne Hamilton to carry out a forensic examination of the script and music. This is what she wrote in her final report:

“First, I have to say, BRAVO, BRAVO, BRAVO!… [You have] an excellent cast of characters; a great premise; an excellent use of farce; a tone that is clever and witty; very funny stock characters; lots of twists in the plot; terrific character names; and great pacing.”

Then Anne went on to point out a number of ways in which the script could be improved and tightened up, particularly in making the ending much more of a roller-coaster ride to the grand finale — the scene in which the killer is revealed!
